Turkish broadcaster says CCTV footage shows men transporting Jamal 'Khashoggi body parts'

A Turkish TV station has broadcast footage showing men carrying what is purportedly the remains of journalist Jamal Khashoggi to the Saudi consul-general's residence in Istanbul.

Saudi officials have countered that claim, insisting Khashoggi was killed in a "rogue operation", after initially claiming he had left the building before vanishing.

Reportedly, the Central Intelligence Agency and other Western entities say that Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, or MBS, ordered the hit on Khashoggi. The book claims to reveal the identities of two members of the Saudi hit squad that allegedly murdered Khashoggi.

Riyadh had repeatedly rejected Turkish demands to extradite suspects connected to the murder.

The Turkish security officials also told the authors that the squad members removed Khashoggi's blood with a special sucker machine and then dismembered his body with a circular saw.
