George Bush senior dies at 94 years old
His presidency fell during a time of dramatic change as the Cold War ended, the Soviet Union broke up and the Berlin Wall fell. Bush served as Vice President to Ronald Reagan in the 1980s, and in 1988 won the Republican nomination for president.

Sitting presidents have eulogized the last three past presidents who have died. Bush died at home in Houston on Friday at age 94. Before that, Bill Clinton gave a eulogy for Richard Nixon after he died in April 1994.

Those reflections will continue throughout the week, when Bush's casket travels from Houston, Bush's hometown, to Washington, DC to lie in state in the United States Capitol. Nixon was the first person in line to pay his respects. There, he will help wounded veterans and service members during their recovery. He is named after former airline pilot Chesley "Sully" Sullenberger, who safely landed a plane on the Hudson River in 2009.
