Saints sign ex-Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant

The former Dallas Cowboys receiver agreed to a one-year deal with the New Orleans Saints, the team announced. You know Bryant wouldn't mind another big night in Dallas, this time in a odd uniform.

"You'll have to ask him", Garrett said about Bryant being motivated to play the Cowboys, via David Helman of the team's site.

"I don't know Dez".

Quarterback Drew Brees echoed his defensive teammate. "I know it's important to him". I think sometimes that's looked at the wrong way.

Stein: NBA plans to televise All-Star Game Draft this season
The only complaint that was well-publicized was the fact the draft itself was done via conference call and not televised. Team LeBron ended up taking down Team Steph 148-145 last season, and there weren't a whole lot of complaints to be had.

The 30-year-old Bryant, who was released by the Dallas Cowboys in April, had visited other teams in the offseason - including the Cleveland Browns in August.

Over the course of his eight-year career, Bryant has appeared in 113 regular season games with 99 starts, posting 531 receptions for 7,459 yards (14.0 avg.) with 73 touchdowns.

The Saints' most pressing need is for a slot receiver. "He's definitely a special player and I'm glad he got picked up and I'm glad something worked out for him".

Timing was everything for the Saints and Bryant, leading to the two sides making it happen.

Donald Trump fires US Attorney General Jeff Sessions
The president said Sessions' chief of staff, Matt Whitaker , would replace him for now, with a permanent replacement coming later. Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer was asked about Sessions' resignation at a news conference Wednesday.

Dez Bryant had many reasons to sign with the New Orleans Saints. Veteran Ted Ginn Jr. was placed on injured reserve last month with a knee injury, and Cameron Meredith hasn't panned out as hoped since joining the team as a restricted free agent, with zero targets over the past three games. Bryant had barely signed and Cowboys linebacker Jaylon Smith was already asking to swap jerseys after the game.

Bryant could not have landed with a better team. With the terrific pass-blocking offensive line up front, this team has the potential of being one of the most efficient offenses in National Football League history. Is it Mike T? "So we just move forward", Watson said.

While Bryant isn't expected to come in and the No. 1 receiver, there's no doubt he can come in and make a difference for head coach Sean Payton and Co. Those numbers are far below the 1,300-yard, 10-plus touchdowns seasons we were used to seeing.

"It's big for him, man", Crawford said, via PFT. "It's one of those things that's a process".

Historic vote for Muslim women in U.S. elections
MA will also be getting its first black congresswoman while Arizona and Tennessee stand to elect their first woman senators. The two were the first Muslim women to be elected to Congress .

"It'll be exciting to face Dez, especially with him coming to his home here", Elliott said. I wasn't in the locker room with him in Dallas. You bring him along and you want to put him in position to succeed, right? "Really happy for him and that opportunity", he said.
