Salisbury attack order came from highest level in Russian state, says Javid

Salisbury attack order came from highest level in Russian state, says Javid

We will remind, in Moscow, said that video evidence in the case of Violinists are fake.

In the joint statement, the leaders said: "We have full confidence in the British assessment that the two suspects were officers from the Russian military intelligence service, also known as the GRU, and that this operation was nearly certainly approved at a senior government level".

The Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons confirmed Tuesday that Rowley and Sturgess were also exposed to Novichok.

British authorities and the worldwide chemical weapons watchdog say the Skripals were exposed to Novichok, a type of military-grade nerve agent developed by the Soviet Union during the cold war.

British prosecutors charged two Russians for the attempted murder of a former Russian spy and his daughter with a nerve agent, naming suspects for the first time in a case that has caused one of the biggest East-West rifts in decades. Ms Sturgess died in hospital in July, just over a week after the pair fell ill.

The prime minister did, however, reveal the two suspects who flew into Britain with the novichok were officers in the GRU, Russian military intelligence, as police laid out a compelling trail showing how the suspects travelled from Moscow to London and then on to Salisbury, featuring numerous CCTV images and supporting detail.

Fleming's comments came after Britain, France, Germany, Canada and the United States pledged in a joint statement to work to disrupt "the hostile activities of foreign intelligence networks".

Police respond to active shooter in downtown Cincinnati
Cincinnati Police say two additional victims were sent to area hospitals, but they do not have information on their conditions. Police Chief Eliot Isaac said the killer used a 9 mm handgun and was carrying magazines with some 200 rounds of ammunition.

Responding, Jeremy Corbyn, the Labour leader, praised the investigation and said his party would back "any further reasonable action" against Russian Federation or the GRU.

Speaking to reporters on Thursday, Putin's spokesman, Dmitry Peskov, called the accusations levelled against Putin and the Russian government "unacceptable".

London blamed the Russian state for the attack, but Moscow strongly denied any involvement.

Britain and dozens of other countries have kicked out Russian diplomats over the incident, and Moscow has responded tit-for-tat in the biggest diplomatic expulsions since the Cold War.

The Russian foreign ministry has said that the names of the two suspects did "not mean anything to us". "It was nearly certainly also approved outside the GRU at a senior level of the Russian state", she said in the House of Commons.

I don't think that anyone can ever say that Mr Putin isn't in control of his state.

He added: "The GRU is without doubt not rogue".

In recent months, the Spanish worldwide has been linked with a move away from Los Blancos with Chelsea eyeing a move for him.

On Wednesday, the Prime Minister announced that charges would be brought against two men thought to be responsible for the poisoning of Sergei and Yulia Skripal. It is led, linked to both the senior members of the Russian general staff and the defence minister and, through that, to the Kremlin and the president's office.

Putin should take responsibility for the Novichok attack because his government "controls, funds and directs" the GRU intelligence service blamed for the poisoning, United Kingdom security minister Ben Wallace has said today.

We don't yet know where the suspects disposed of the Novichok they used to attack the door, where Dawn and Charlie got the bottle that poisoned them, or if it is the same bottle used in both poisonings.

According to the source, some foreigners, including Russians, will lose the visa if the government will find they have "evidence of serious financial irregularities".

Mr Skripal and his daughter are recovering but a woman, Dawn Sturgess, died after being exposed to the contaminated perfume bottle apparently discarded by the would-be assassins in a Salisbury park after the alleged attack.
