Kavanaugh Confirmation Hearings Will Begin Sept. 4

There are over millions more documents in the George W. Bush Presidential Library, alone, that could pertain to Brett Kavanaugh's record and provide a necessary insight into his legal views, particularly his record on LGBTQ issues during his time as White House Staff Secretary and White House Counsel.

Updated at 4:19 p.m. | The Senate Judiciary Committee will hold a three- or four- day confirmation hearing for Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh starting September 4, Chairman Charles E. Grassley, R-Iowa, announced on Friday.

Grassley expects the hearing to last 3 to 4 days.

He further touted the nominee as a mainstream judge with a record of "applying the law as it is written".

HRC responded to the Kavanaugh hearing announcement made by Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley with a call for full transparency on the nominee's record. "He's met with dozens of senators who have nothing but positive things to say", Grassley said in a statement. Not only is a massively conflicted Republican lawyer, who previously worked for Judge Kavanaugh, cherry-picking what documents the Senate Judiciary Committee can see, he is now telling the Committee what the rest of the Senate and the American public can see-and Republicans are playing along. But due to the 51-49 split in the Senate, Republicans will need to be almost unanimous, or persuade a few Democrats, if they want Kavanaugh to be confirmed.

The Judiciary Committee will hold up to four days of review, with Kavanaugh to begin facing questions on Day 2, September 5, said committee chairman Sen.

Every day, Republican obstruction of Kavanaugh's record gets worse and worse.

"With the Senate already reviewing more documents than for any other Supreme Court nominee in history, Chairman Grassley has lived up to his promise to lead an open, transparent and fair process", Shah said. Before he can assume the lifetime job on the nine-member court, the Republican-controlled Senate must vote to confirm him.

United's all-time leading goalscorer told Sky Sports: "I think it will be hard after the season they had a year ago ". Valencia - he was injured in pre-season. "The players with a proper pre-season are fit and they are strong".

A spokeswoman for Feinstein said the senator is "reviewing options in the event he continues to restrict access to only senators on the committee".

August 8: Sen. Blumenthal and Senate Judiciary Committee Democrats file a Freedom of Information Act request seeking release all of Kavanaugh's White House documents.

But the documents have been a major point of contention in the Senate. John McCain has been receiving cancer treatment in his home state, Republicans can not afford to lose any votes and hope to advance Kavanaugh's nomination if no Democrats support him.
