Trump team expected to respond to Mueller regarding interview

On Sunday, Trump tweeted an apparent response to stories by CNN and The Washington Post that said he was anxious about his son Donald Trump Jr.'s legal exposure following the 2016 meeting. "Fake News reporting, a complete fabrication, that I am concerned about the meeting my wonderful son, Donald, had in Trump Tower", Trump wrote.

"This was a meeting to get information on an opponent, totally legal and done all the time in politics - and it went nowhere", said Trump.

Robert Mueller's investigation into the Donald Trump campaign's collusion with Russian Federation in the 2016 election is a tricky question for Trump supporters, as seen in a new video by The Young Turks.

According to an AFP report, the 2016 meeting was held at the Trump Tower and was arranged by British music promoter Rob Goldstone, who told Trump Jr that he had "information that would incriminate Hillary and her dealings with Russian Federation and would be very useful to your father".

The first response to the allegations that Trump Jr. held this meeting was to say that in the end it was a waste of time and they "primarily discussed a program about the adoption of Russian children" and not anything vital to the campaign. The statement made no mention of Trump officials seeking damaging information on Hillary Clinton, which Trump later suggested was in fact the point of the meeting.

First Lady Melania Trump spokeswoman: LeBron doing good things
BBC North America reporter Anthony Zurcher suggests the first lady's statement contains veiled criticism of her husband's tweet . And I got an opportunity to see them and learn about them and they got an opportunity to learn about me and we became friends.

Trump went on to say that nothing came from the meeting. The report comes after Mueller responded to a letter from Trump's attorneys regarding the scope and format of a potential interview.

Sekulow, however, declined to say whether Trump would declassify and release Justice Department and Federal Bureau of Investigation documents now sought by House investigators through subpoenas related to possible anti-Trump bias and the Russian Federation probe. However, legal experts have indicated several possible charges, including conspiracy against the United States and aiding and abetting a conspiracy. Dowd subsequently resigned from the Trump team.

Giuliani told The Hill the Trump team was not going to agree to all of Mueller's requests, but insisted, "we're not giving them a straight turndown".

Still pending is a decision about whether he sits for an interview with Mueller and it may occur in the coming weeks, according to Rudy Giuliani, his attorney and his primary spokesman now on the Mueller probe. It took place at Trump Tower and among those in attendance were Russian lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya, Trump Jr., Trump's then-campaign chairman, Paul Manafort, and Trump's son-in-law, Jared Kushner, who now serves as a White House senior adviser.

He rages against what he claims are the media's obsession with his links to Russian Federation and the status of Cohen, his former fixer.

9-Year-Old Lemonade Stand Owner Robbed At Gunpoint In Monroe
Officials believe the suspect, described as a black male in his teens, made his getaway on a bicycle after the robbery. Less than 24 hours after the robbery, his mom, dad and the 9-year-old boy were out selling lemonade again.

"It would depend, and - and I'm just a witness in this case, not the investigator or prosecutor - it would depend upon other things that reflected on his intent", Comey, who was sacked by Trump in May of 2017, said at the time.

Despite a show of force from his national security team this week as a warning against future Russian election meddling, Trump called the matter a "hoax" again this week. They purposely cause great division & distrust. He's also looking at whether Trump's tweets, statements and other actions amount to an attempt to obstruct the investigation.

Trump was joined for his Saturday rally in OH by former White House communications director Hope Hicks, who departed the administration earlier this year.

The Trump team maintains that the meeting failed to yield compromising information on Clinton, Trump's Democratic opponent.
