Shaun Weiss, an actor best known for his role in "The Mighty Ducks" was arrested Saturday in California on public intoxication charges, police said.

Weiss was arrested for being under the influence of drugs.

Weiss has consistently worked ever since childhood, appearing in everything from Sabrina, the Teenage Witch to Boy Meets World to Freaks and Geeks.

Oroville police said officers found Weiss near a business and he appeared to be under the influence of drugs. Authorities determined that Weiss was high on drugs, according to Nicodemus, though he did not know which specific substance it was. The Heavy Weights star was held behind bars for a few hours until he sobered up and was released without charges.

This wasn't the first time Weiss had trouble with the law.

The August 2017 arrest took place after a neighbourhood resident called the police to report a man stumbling around a property near the Warner Bros. studio lot. A year ago he was sentenced to 150 days in jail for his second petty theft arrest.

Weiss worked steadily after the three "Mighty Ducks" movies, but TMZ reports it's been a couple years since his last acting gig.

He was previously arrested for stealing $151-worth of electronics products and was sentenced to jail time and days after his release, arrested again for possession of suspected methamphetamine.
