Heather Locklear arrested for alleged attack on deputy, EMT

Heather Locklear was arrested on Sunday night for allegedly assaulting a police officer and an ambulance worker, according to the Ventura County Sheriff's Office.

Former Melrose Place star Heather Locklear was arrested again on Sunday night for an incident where she allegedly punched a police officer and kicked an emergency medical technician at her southern California home. Deputies found Locklear intoxicated and arguing with friends and relatives, sheriff's officials said. He claims Locklear kicked one deputy and then kicked a paramedic who came to evaluate her.

According to RadarOnline.com, Locklear checked into a 5-day detox center in L.A., but left after two days. She was briefly hospitalized before being medically cleared and taken to jail. She's expected to return to court on August 23 for a hearing. She's being held behind bars on a $20,000 bail.

Then in early March, deputies returned to her home to seize a.38-calliber Smith and Wesson that was registered to Locklear. "Heather is hitting rock bottom and her daughter (Ava Elizabeth Sambora) and other family members are seriously concerned for her health and well-being". She reportedly pleaded not guilty to the incident in April.

She has previously spoken about her struggles with addiction.
