#WC2018: Suarez wins 100th Uruguay cap, Saudi Arabia drop goalkeeper

Luis Suarez celebrated his 100th worldwide appearance with a goal that helped Uruguay reach the round of 16 and ended the chances of Saudi Arabia and Egypt advancing at the World Cup.

Saudi Arabia lost 5-0 to Russian Federation in the opening game of the 2018 World Cup, and they'll look to avoid an 0-2-0 start against a very talented and disciplined Uruguay team that beat Egypt 2-0 in their first group match.

Suarez marked his 100th worldwide appearance in style, slotting home a simple finish after a goalkeeping error in the 23rd minute at Rostov Arena.

That strike was Suarez's sixth World Cup goal and made him the first Uruguayan to score in three separate finals.
