Doctor Suspended After Mocking Patient Suffering From Anxiety Attack

A California emergency room doctor was caught on video laughing and cursing at a patient who was complaining of anxiety and pain last week - and now she's in trouble.

The doctor asked if the patient wanted narcotics, but Bardwell's father said Samuel suffers from anxiety attacks and usually takes the drug Klonopin.

Mr Bardwell's basketball coach at West Valley College Scott Eitelgeorge said the young man appeared to be "having a pretty severe anxiety attack" during practice before collapsing on the ground outside.

"She said, 'I know why you people are here, you people who come here for drugs, ' and I said 'What do you mean you people?'" Donald recalled.

Bardwell's father, Daniel, reportedly recorded their unsettling June 10 encounter with Dr. Beth Keegstra, 57, and posted the footage to Facebook. Keegstra tells Bardwell in the video, pulling on his arms.

An ER doctor announcing you're one of the "least sick of all the people" sounds like good news, but in the case of Samuel Bardwell, it was a callous statement made while he was suffering a full-blown anxiety attack.

With Spain and Portugal tying, Iran leads Group B after beating Morocco 1-0 in their opener. "We knew how to suffer". Africa's performance at this year's world cup has not been impressive.

Keegstra could not immediately be reached Monday for comment.

The hospital released a statement saying, "This week, a patient who visited the emergency department at our Los Gatos campus had an interaction with a physician whose demeanor was unprofessional and not the standard we require of all who provide care through El Camino Hospital". Therefore, she had been removed from the working schedule, and the hospital officials are now performing more investigations on the matter.

The doctor, who Bardwell reportedly waited four hours to see, begins to loudly tell the 20-year-old to "sit up" and is seen trying to push him upwards on the hospital bed. She even tries to yank him up after he clearly states that he can not move.

An American doctor has been fired from the hospital she was working from after a video of her in tense standoff with a patient has gone viral.

The video was posted on Tuesday by Donald Bardwell.

"I did nothing wrong", Bardwell said. "Yeah, that's how pissed off you've gotten me". At one point, Samuel says he can't inhale, to which the doctor responds-amid chuckles, "He can't inhale. Wow!" "Do you want us to wheel you to your house in a gurney?"

WWE's writing has been lagging a little bit lately, but this was an impeccably executed opening segment of Raw . Rousey sought retribution against Bliss after she cashed in the Money in the Bank briefcase Sunday night.

A day later, the hospital added an update, saying it has notified its contracted provider to permanently remove Keegstra from the list of approved physicians at all its hospitals. He was given fluids and medication for his anxiety and pain.

The family told ABC that he is considering legal action against the hospital.

"We didn't know what the outcome of not taking the meds would be", said Bardwell's father, Donald.

"He can't inhale!" said Keegstra. "They just were not taking care of me from the beginning".

Told Bardwell's father via ABC News, 'In my mind, I don't think she should be practicing medicine at all'.
