The new KEY2 is BlackBerry's first smartphone to feature a dual-rear camera [12MP], and introduces "Speed Key" for easy app access at any time.

The smartphone comes in 64GB and 128GB internal storage variants, expandable via microSD card (up to 256GB).

The BlackBerry KEY2 comes with a 4.5-inch 1,620 x 1,080 LCD display. Key height has increased by 20% for better comfort and better accuracy, and there's a new speed button that allows you to access up to 52 customizable shortcuts such as frequently used apps or favorite contacts.

This is the sequel of the BlackBerry KeyONE which launched a year ago and even though it didn't sell in millions, the phone earned some praise.

Commenting on the launch of the BlackBerry KEY2, Alex Thurber, SVP and GM of Mobility Solutions at BlackBerry said, "BlackBerry phones are the world's most secure Android smartphones". On the front, there's an 8MP sensor with Full HD video recording. A 3500mAh battery powers the device from within along with Quick Charge 3.0.

The camera has had a moderate bump in specs too, you now get a dual 12MP + 12MP camera, with HDR, 4K video recording at 30FPS.

The novelty, as well as past generations, differ by physical keyboard under the screen, the space contains a built-in thumbprint scanner.
