We're Getting a BOBA FETT Movie From The Director of LOGAN

The next Star Wars character to get their own spin-off movie is Boba Fett, according to reports.

As reported by THR, Mangold has signed on to direct, as well as taking up writing duties alongside his Logan collaborator Simon Kinberg.

News was first revealed by Hollywood Reporter, ahead of the release of Solo: A Star Wars Story, which opened in Singapore cinemas yesterday (May 24).

In a statement here, he said the one-man commission of inquiry would be headed by a retired Judge of the High Court. Protesters have alleged that the plant, set up in 1996, was polluting ground water in their area.

Despite having very few lines and very little screen time, Boba Fett has gained cult status for his mysterious and cool - albeit nearly incidental - presence in the Star Wars films.

Fett became a popular character after his inclusion in 1980's Empire Strikes Back film where he was played by Jeremy Bulloch. This is largely because its urge to illuminate all the familiar details of Han Solo's character in the original franchise (his blaster! the Millennium Falcon! doing the Kessel Run in under 12 parsecs!) ultimately remove any sense of mystery surrounding his first solo outing.

Hopefully, Disney has the balls that Fox did when they let Mangold do basically whatever he wanted with Logan. Lucasfilm allegedly has a number of unofficial spinoff projects in development, including a movie about Obi-Wan Kenobi that reportedly has Stephen Daldry in talks to direct. At the moment, Mangold's Boba Fett film looks like it could have more momentum.

Swarmed by reporters, Najib arrived at the MACC headquarters in Kuala Lumpur wearing an open-neck shirt and looking relaxed. The money was in addition to about $700 million that US investigators said ended in Najib's bank account.

Dedicated fans will remember seeing Boba Fett's younger self showing up in "The Clones Wars" animated show as well. Disney turned the Star Wars franchise into a money-making machine after it purchased Lucasfilm, and it's all but certain that Star Wars films won't end once the current trilogy comes to a halt.

The intergalactic hitman was immediately speculated to be one of the characters receiving an anthology film when Disney announced the new initiative.
