Trump tells Navy grads ‘you don’t give up’

President Trump touted his administration's push to increase military spending in a commencement address at the Naval Academy on Friday, telling graduating midshipmen that the US had regained its stride on the world stage.

The White House on Thursday confirmed Trump as the speaker for the May 25 ceremony.

"We are respected again - I can tell you that", he said.

They go on to list other courageous actions taken by Naval Academy graduates over the years - and then compare them with the actions taken by Trump, who was busy at the time cheating on his three wives and being a reality TV game show host.

Following the commencement address, ABC News released a 41-second time-lapse video of President Trump shaking hands with hundreds of graduates for close to an hour and a half. A lot, ' he told Naval Academy graduates. We are going to stand up for America.
