Trump Properly Discloses Payment to Michael Cohen

President Trump's latest annual financial disclosure form released Wednesday reveals something undisclosed on Mr. Trump's previous financial disclosure form - Mr. Trump's reimbursement of his then-attorney Michael Cohen.

The revelation comes in Trump's personal financial disclosure report, which he filed Tuesday with the Office of Government Ethics, and which the OGE officially certified and released to the public Wednesday afternoon.

In a separate but related story, the Post reported Wednesday night that Federal Bureau of Investigation agents have questioned a translator Cohen worked with in connection with payments he received from the company Korea Aerospace Industries.

Special Counsel Robert Mueller and the United States attorney for the Southern District of NY, which conducted raids last month on Mr Cohen's NY residence and office, are investigating his activities.

The White House did not respond to requests for comment to clarify the reason for Mr Trump's payment to Mr Cohen. Rumaihi said when he asked Cohen for specifics on more important projects that Qatar could invest in, Cohen allegedly replied that he would first need $1 million in order to consult as part of his fee.

After Trump's election, Cohen solicited corporations for consulting gigs and funneled large sums of money from those firms through Essential Consultants LLC. "His allegations are baseless and fraudulent", Avenatti said.

Mr Akhtar said he spent five years working at the garage Mr Friedman - who has since been jailed and faces trouble on a number of legal fronts - ran with partner Mr Cohen.

News of Cohen's solicitations put an unflattering light on his post-election activities and raised some ethics questions about the use of his existing relationship with Trump for personal financial gain.

Qatar's more eclectic and liberal foreign and domestic policies had long irritated its neighbours in the region, and Mr Trump's visit had apparently convinced the Saudis that he would take their side in a dispute. Trump later explained that he didn't see eye to eye with Tillerson, the former ExxonMobil CEO, and had more in common with Central Intelligence Agency chief Mike Pompeo, who took over as secretary of state.
