Steven Gerrard set to unveil his first signing as Rangers manager

Canadian global midfielder Scott Arfield joined Rangers on a four-year deal on Monday to become Steven Gerrard's first signing as manager of the Glasgow giants.

The 29-year-old spent eight years in England with Huddersfield and the Clarets and is excited about the prospect of returning to his native land at a fascinating time for his new club.

New boss Steven Gerrard told the club website: "I am delighted to have added Scott Arfield to the squad for next season".

The Scots-born Canadian worldwide midfielder quit Burnley at the end of his contract to sign for the Ibrox outfit.

Facebook, Aiming for Transparency, Details Removal of Posts and Fake Accounts
The company previously enforced community standards by having users report violations and trained staff then deal with them. Compare that to the 95.8 percent of nudity or 99.5 percent of terrorist propaganda that Facebook purged automatically.

"When a club of this magnitude comes in for you it is a no brainer", said Arfield in the statement.

Rangers are expected to add several new players this summer, with Arfield the first of many.

"We are going to go up to Glasgow and give it our best shot", the former midfielder stressed.

In recent seasons, Celtic have attracted some quality footballers, such as Scott Sinclair, but the arrival of Gerrard at Rangers could change the game and maybe level the playing field.
