It is not enough to roll out the plans to at most a quarter of the country by 2022/23 as planned.

The report said that children who'd been excluded from school, those in care, or being educated outside of mainstream schools or not in education at all were in danger of missing out on care.

Getting the appropriate amount of exercise can help control weight, improve mental health, and help you live longer and healthier. This means that schools are finding it very hard to get children the support they need'.

Rather, the approach to mental illness tends to be disease-driven, meaning there are few wellness and prevention approaches in place for children's mental health and children typically don't see a mental health provider until they have a mental health issue.

Dr. Sarah Davidon, research director at Mental Health Colorado and faculty member at the University of Colorado School of Medicine speaks at Monday's Mental Health Matters conference at Northern Michigan University, which was organized by the Upper Peninsula Children's Coalition.
