Second Palestinian Killed in Weekend Clashes With Israeli Army

Israeli forces shot and killed on Friday a Palestinian man in the West Bank during protests against Washington's decision to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.

Clashes erupted in Urif village, south of Nablus, on Saturday evening between Palestinians and Israeli settlers, who were raiding the village.

Muhammed Zain Jabri, age 24 from Hebron, was shot by live fire and taken to a nearby hospital where he later succumbed to his wounds, says the ministry.

He continued: "Those who serve us with poison will eventually swallow it and poison themselves". The comments come after months of sabre-rattling by Russian Federation and America.

US-led peace talks between Israel and the Palestinians broke down in 2014 and a new push by President Donald Trump's administration to restart negotiations has shown little progress so far.

Israel's military said Palestinians approached the Itzhar settlement and clashed with local residents.

The Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) blasted the decision, with senior official Saeb Erekat saying, "The American administration's decisions to recognize Jerusalem as Israel's capital and choose the Palestinian people's Nakba as the date for this step is a blatant violation of worldwide law".

He also told his supporters that there is no conspiracy to take him down, that he's the only one to blame for what happened. A judge announced the sentencing decision at a hearing today, where Shkreli reportedly cried while pleading for leniency.
