Trump asked witnesses about special counsel conversations

Trump asked witnesses about special counsel conversations

After going on a defiant media spree on Monday, former Trump campaign aide Sam Nunberg said Tuesday that he would comply with special counsel Robert Mueller's subpoena to appear before a federal grand jury regarding Russian meddling in the 2016 election.

In January, the Times reported that Trump ordered Mueller to be fired previous year, but was stopped after McGahn threatened to resign rather than carry out Trump's order.

Erik Prince, according to the Times, was included because he had informally advised President Trump's team during the transition, "three people familiar with the meeting" said.

Syria Controls Half of Eastern Ghouta, Airstrikes Kill 45 More Civilians
In New York, the UN Security Council will again gather to discuss the failure of a ceasefire it had demanded last week. Zeid Ra'ad Al Hussein said the Syrian regime and its foreign allies were already planning their next "apocalypse".

Nunberg went back to emphasizing that, when it comes down to it, he loathes Trump and thinks that his lack of smarts is why he's the target of Mueller's investigation to begin with. Sources say Emirati officials were under the impression that Prince was speaking on behalf of the Trump transition, and Dmitriev was representing Putin. For that, he was automatically shunned, reduced to a mere mention, by Sean Hannity, Laura Ingraham, and Monday's substitute-for-Tucker-Carlson Mark Steyn (don't know him? he's the one that yells in a Canadian growl and looks like a grizzly bear who's learned to shave). The meeting took place in the Seychelles islands after Nader introduced the two men to each other.

Nader has also drawn particular attention for his role in two meetings between foreign officials and Trump associates.

It comes after Trump said Tuesday at the White House that Russians did interfere in America's last presidential election - and other countries probably did too - but cautioned that the United States will counteract any attempt at meddling in the November 2018 midterms. Mueller was appointed special counsel to investigate possible Russian interference in the 2016 election, whether any Americans assisted in such efforts, and any other matters that arise in the course of his probe. They have also asked about Nader's role in White House policy-making.

Limping Taylor bludgeons Black Caps to victory
The facts alone are remarkable: 147 deliveries; 17 boundaries; six sixes; his 19th ODI hundred; his highest ODI score. Taylor hit a six off Woakes in the 48th over, then New Zealand reached the 49th over needing 13 from 12 balls.

Still, Nunberg maintained that the document request laid out in the subpoena was "extremely time consuming" and said he had no regrets about his very public defiance.

Nader could not be reached for comment, and his lawyer declined to comment. Nunberg was sacked from the Trump campaign in 2015 after racist Facebook posts were uncovered on his personal account.

The UAE agreed to broker the meeting in part to explore whether Russian Federation could be persuaded to curtail its relationship with Iran, including in Syria, a Trump administration objective. He traveled to Moscow twice in 2016 and was the subject of surveillance by the US intelligence community. There are hundreds of Trump campaign staffers, volunteers and contributors who were in closer proximity to the real campaign than Nunberg ever was.

Meghan Markle to be baptized this month
The Sunday Times has claimed that Markle will join the Church of England before her Big Day. These things it's always unfortunate we still need, but it's an incredible thing.
