Richard Sherman's mother takes to Facebook to confirm his rumored release

The Seahawks said there is nothing to report about rumors circulating regarding the future of cornerback Richard Sherman Wednesday.

The Seattle Seahawks reign as an elite NFC team seems to be over as the franchise cut bait with Michael Bennett on Wednesday, trading him to Philadelphia, and now they are poised to do the same with Richard Sherman.

The strongest indications that Sherman's departure from the Seahawks is imminent have come from teammates on social media.
