Hundreds of Palestinians have been shot, detained, or killed over the past two years in alleged attempted stabbing attacks against mostly uniformed Israeli soldiers or security officials.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said in a statement today that violent clashes erupted between Palestinian youths and the occupation troops after storming the house of the Palestinian martyr Hamzah Zamara.

The Israeli forces had apparently entered the city to search for a Palestinian who stabbed and killed an Israeli man near the major West Bank settlement of Ariel on Monday.

A 16-year-old Palestinian is in a critical condition after being shot in the face, chest, and thigh by Israeli forces during clashes in Kafr Aqeb, north of Jerusalem on Wednesday evening, according to al-Araby al-Jadeed.
