Snow warning for Largs and west of Scotland

Another weather warning for fog has been issued by the Met Office today who say visibility could again fall below 100 metres in some places.

The Met Office stated: "There is a small chance that power cuts will occur, and other services such as mobile phone coverage, may be affected". Some patches of fog will form and also some frost.

One forecaster warned that a "potent wintry blast" is on its way and could arrive in the United Kingdom "early next week".

Co Derry, Co Antrim, and Co Tyrone are the areas expected to be impacted most.
