Former President Barack Obama to be Letterman's first guest on new show

David Letterman has unveiled a blockbuster guest list for his six-episode Netflix talk show.

Hov's longtime friend, President Obama, will be the show's first guest when it debuts January 12. He then moved to CBS, where The Late Show With David Letterman aired from 1993 to 2015.

David Letterman is returning to late night-and he's bringing some big names with him. Only the first episode, which focuses on Obama, will arrive this month.

The series will stream on a monthly basis from February to June.
