Dave Chappelle to Release Another Surprise Standup Special

That's why Comedy Central is doing a New Year's Day marathon of the sketch show's entire run, plus Dave Chappelle's classic 2000 stand-up specialKillin' Them Softly at midnight.

The special performance was filmed in front of a packed house at Warner Theater in Washington, D.C., and highlights everything from culture, class, politics, and the specter of getting old.

One of the specials was filmed at the Comedy Store in Los Angeles. Thankfully, we have folks like Dave Chappelle to help us make sense of it all through the art of comedy.

Dave Chappelle has had two stand-up specials on Netflix so far, both of which were energic outbursts of polemical and perceptive talking points from the comedy legend, discussing race, white privilege, O.J. Simpson, and how he's jealous of Kevin Hart. They will mark Chappelle's third and fourth Netflix specials to be released this year.
