Aaron Jones was arrested and now faces marijuana-related charge

Jones was charged with operating with a restricted controlled substance, operating without a valid license and speeding. He has pleaded not guilty to each charge.

According to the State Patrol's report, Jones was clocked at between 77 and 79 miles per hour in an area of Hwy.

He allegedly admitted to waking up three hours earlier and smoking marijuana after he ate breakfast. No drugs were found in Jones' possession.

Jones is scheduled for a pre-trial hearing on February 1, 2018.
