The number of structures destroyed by the fire remained steady at 24 structures, and there was no breakdown available yet of how many of those structures were homes or outbuildings.

By mid-afternoon, the fire had consumed more than 2,000 acres and prompted evacuations in many neighborhoods in and around Anaheim Hills.

As wildfires raged across Northern California, authorities have said the fires have burned more than 1,500 buildings and at least 13 people have died. The damage assessment is ongoing.

Areas that are evacuated can be found in a searchable map released by Anaheim Fire and Rescue.

Santa Ana winds are predicted to "continue through late Tuesday morning across portions of Southwest California", the National Weather Service said in a 3:15 p.m. PDT advisory.
