Luther Strange Concedes: Political Winds 'Very Hard to Navigate'

Luther Strange's endorsement from Trump and tens of millions of dollars in campaign spending on his behalf by political groups directed by Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell. Finish the job - vote today for 'Big Luther, '" and, "ALABAMA, get out and vote for Luther Strange - he has proven to me that he will never let you down! But some of the President's most recent tweets about unusual disappeared.

If the rumors that Trump supported Luther Strange because of the influence of his Democrat son-in-law Jared Kushner are true, it's time for Trump to finally put an end to his practice of familial nepotism and start practicing political nepotism.

Trump also called to congratulate Moore, who defeated unusual by 9 percentage points.

Trump appeared to be throwing his weight behind odd, who benefited from an advertising onslaught against Moore of more than $10 million.

Trump often deletes tweets from his personal account over spelling mistakes and then quickly tweets corrected versions.

Tuesday's primary vote sets up Moore to go against Democratic challenger Doug Jones in the bid to fill Alabama's seat left vacant by Sessions' appointment to the top Justice Department post. "We can support the president".

Uber announces it is leaving Quebec
Uber employs more than 50 office workers in the province, where more than 10,000 drivers have worked for the company, he said. Jean-Nicolas Guillemette, Uber Quebec's general manager, speaks at a news conference in Montreal, Tuesday, Sept. 26, 2017.

Moore is a former Alabama Supreme Court judge who supports smaller government, stopping immigrants who come to the USA illegally, and banning homosexuality in the military.

More recently Moore pulled a gun out at a rally Monday in support of the Second Amendment.

Trump also tweeted, "Congratulations to Roy Moore on his Republican Primary win in Alabama".

"I'm sure he'll be criticized for coming to campaign for me".

The Alabama Secretary of State's website showed Moore getting 54.89 percent of the vote and unusual attracting 45.11 percent, but noted that the results still weren't official. But aides to the president prevailed upon him to go, citing his huge popularity in the state he dominated in the 2016 Republican primary and general election.

Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin, in a rally for Mr Moore last week, said the judge was a better match for Mr Trump's "movement".

Target to raise minimum wage to $15 by 2020
The Target Corp. announced Monday an hourly minimum wage hike to $11 beginning next month, followed by an increase to $15 by 2020. Two states, MA and Washington, match the minimum wage of $11 per hour although some cities nationwide have even higher levels.

Throughout the campaign, Mr Moore argued the election was an opportunity to send a message to the "elite Washington establishment" that he said was trying to influence the race.

More importantly, though, there's the fact that Trump had already been signaling - literally while he was campaigning for odd - that backing unusual might be "a mistake". "I'll leave it to the pundits to figure all that out, my focus has been on the people of the great state of Alabama and making a difference".

The special election takes place on December 12.

The Alabama race wasn't a referendum on Trump, despite his endorsement for unusual.

In his victory speech, Moore said he supported President Donald Trump, even though the president had backed odd.

All said and done, Moore has had his share of rejection in the good old days as well.
