3 arrested in protest at Georgia Tech

According to a statement from the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, Georgia Tech Police officers received a 911 call around 11:17 p.m. Saturday about a person described as a "white male, with long blond hair, white T-shirt and blue jeans who is possibly intoxicated, holding a knife and possibly armed with a gun on his hip". "Looks like he might be drunk or something", 21-year-old Scout Schultz told the 911 operator on September 16. But the student was armed with a knife, the bureau wrote in a statement - and video shows officers repeatedly telling Schultz to drop the weapon as the student advances.

After the vigil for Scout Schultz, leader of the school's Pride Alliance, dozens of protesters marched to campus police headquarters, chanting "Justice now" and "This is not OK", CNN reports.

On Monday night, Georgia tech Police urged people to stay inside due to the violent protests on campus.

Schultz was a fourth-year computer engineering student and president of Georgia Tech's Pride Alliance.

Three people were arrested and charged with inciting a riot and battery of an officer.

Chris Stewart, the attorney for the Schultz family, said he commended the patience of the other officers involved in the incident.

"Scout's sudden and tragic death today has been devastating news for the Schultz family and classmates - and for members of the community who knew Scout personally, the shock and grief are particularly acute", said John Stein, Georgia Tech's dean of students and vice president for Student Life.

The statement says Schultz's description of the suspicious person given in the 911 call matched Schultz's own appearance. "Our goal is to work diligently to make positive change at Georgia Tech in an effort to ensure a safer campus for all students".

Foreign secretary Johnson says he will not resign
However the Telegraph claims he has told friends the soft Brexit option would be unconscionable to him. Mrs May will lay down her Brexit gauntlet in a major speech in Florence on September 22.

The GBI said in its statement that the investigation into the circumstances surrounding Schultz's shooting death remains ongoing.

Georgia Bureau of Investigation spokeswoman Nelly Miles says three suicide notes were found in Schultz's dorm room.

"I don't think there was a single person that didn't love them and cherish them for their involvement in the different causes", Bill Schultz said.

"The Atlanta Police Department and Georgia State University Police Department "helped restore order relatively quickly", officials said".

Blac Chyna, Rob Kardashian Settle Custody War; Domestic Violence Allegations Dropped
On Saturday, the 3o-year-old shared an adorable picture of Dream on Twitter calling her, "my twin". Committee Chyna would have met with the lawyers to Rob Kardashian to negotiate his big cheque.

Scout then retorts "shoot me!" to which an officer says "nobody wants to hurt you". Officers provided multiple verbal commands and attempted to speak with Schultz who was not cooperative and would not comply with the officers' commands.

The father of a Georgia Tech student who was fatally shot by campus police said his child had a history of depression but he wasn't aware of any particular difficulties in recent weeks. "Shultz [sic] was transported to Grady Memorial Hospital where he [sic] died". "Our thoughts are with Scout's family, Scout's friends at the Georgia Tech community, especially the LGBTQIA community at Georgia Tech".

Schultz adds, "It looks like he's got, he's got a knife in his hand". Another encourages Schultz, "Come on, let's drop it".

Georgia Tech has gained national attention as a result of this incident, and while today's communications technologies provide us with nearly instantaneous coverage, we must rely on professional investigation and evaluation, and not draw conclusions too quickly.
