Stenson claims Wyndham Championship for first win of season

Stenson shot a 4-under 66 on Saturday to take a one-stroke lead in the Wyndham Championship.

It was Stenson's first victory since the 2016 Open, and came in the final event of the PGA Tour's regular season.

The 2013 FedEx Cup champion and 2016 British Open victor was at 16-under 194 at Sedgefield with a round left in the PGA Tour's last regular-season event of the season.

"I hit a lot of good shots out there", Stenson told Sky Sports. "We know the kind of damage you can do in the playoffs".

"Got to keep producing chances", he said.

Henrik Stenson opened with a 62. The Swede closed with a 64 to finish 22-under-par, one clear of Ollie Schniederjans of the USA.

Flores, who started at No 139, jumped to No 118 and made the playoffs for the first time since 2014 while former major victor Geoff Ogilvy, who was at No 125, finished at 11-under and earned enough points to move to No 116 and secure his spot in the field at Glen Oaks Club. "Sometimes it's just a coincidence why you decide to go to a tournament and make a change in your schedule, and this time it certainly worked out for a lot of good". He birdied three straight holes from Nos. Ten holes later, he posted an eagle.

UNC police are investigating after domestic incident at a single-family household at UNC's Baity Hill resulted in a fatality. Baity Hill is an apartment complex that houses graduate students and their families, according to the UNC website.

Stenson, who played in the afternoon, nearly caught Every, notching eight birdies with a hot putter.

He needed it, because Schniederjans kept the pressure on him.

Stenson sealed the victory on the final hole with an up-and-down from just off the back of the green to save par.

"I really thought I had a two-shot advantage", Stenson said. "I feel like I'm starting to hit it better".

Americans Lizette Salas and Angel Yin won in 6-and-5, and rookie Danielle Kang and Michelle Wie of the US beat Europe 3-and-1. Sutherland also birdied the 18th for a 65.

Low scores and tight leaderboards once again were the norm at Sedgefield.

Na is 19 under overall and in the lead by one over Ollie Schniederjans and Henrik Stenson.

Marriyum expresses concern over spread of dengue virus in KP
According to media reports, Shahram Tarkai made a telephonic contact with Khawaja Imran and told him the government's decision. The Punjab Government has dispatched two more health units and eight ambulances to Peshawar for treatment of dengue patients.

Stenson's prior record at Sedgefield was remarkably sparse. His second shot careened off a canopy covering the gallery and landed in a greenside bunker, but he chipped to 2 feet of the flagstick and converted the putt.

He now has two top-20 finishes at majors and the Wyndham Championship title heading into the FedEx Cup playoffs and will surely be a threat to challenge some of the best players in the world if he continues to demonstrate the clutch golf he showed Sunday in North Carolina.

Geoff Ogilvy (T16): The Australian played outstanding all week and shot a 67 on Sunday to move from No. 125 in the FedEx Cup points race to No. 116.

North Carolina native Simpson, the victor here in 2011, followed up Thursday's 63 with a 64, recording eight birdies but dropping shots on the eighth and ninth holes.

"Getting back to that level, I don't know how many times I'm going to be able to get close to playing as well as I did at Troon", Stenson said.

"Things weren't going great in the middle of the round, but I was hanging in there", he said. Sabbatini went from 148 to 122, East Carolina grad Varner III jumped from 138 to 123 and J.J. Henry went from 134 to 125.
