Manchester United thump Swansea City in Premier League

The post Two-out-of-two for Mourinho's United in 4-0 Swansea win appeared first on Vanguard News.

Manchester United is looking for their second win of the season while Swansea just wants to contain the Red Devils and score their first goals of the season.

Hard work behind the scenes has seen the Reds' squad bolstered, with defender Victor Lindelof and striker Romelu Lukaku both arriving before the pre-season tour of the United States got under way. Swansea in the upcoming match is considered an outsider and not for nothing, because in the team there are no important players of the attack, while in the MJ with the composition of the full order. The challenge is to repeat the same kind of performance.

All in all, I think Manchester United will win this game easily. "There was no need to close the door". Just let the horses run freely.

He added: "We have more confidence than last season". One of the best additions they made was 25 year-old midfielder Tom Carroll.

It would put the Premier League at odds with the rest of Europe, but Mourinho played down the threat of European clubs poaching players without the selling clubs having time to sign replacements.

"I was a bit surprised with his yellow card because Mr [referee Jon] Moss before that had certain criteria with Swansea players and didn't give the yellow card. I didn't feel the risk was big".

Mourinho, however, believes that despite losing key players, Chelsea remain strong contenders for the title owing to their ability to bring in replacements. Last season, Zlatan Ibrahimovic was United's frontman in the same way Lukaku is this season, but over time the Swede started to have a detrimental influence on his side. Football is football and when you make a mistake you can concede so I never felt totally relaxed.
