'Anti-Semitic' signs at Swiss hotel warn Jewish guests to shower before swimming

'Anti-Semitic' signs at Swiss hotel warn Jewish guests to shower before swimming

If you break the rules I'm forced to cloes (sic) the swimming pool for you. This is a very weird phenomenon.

The Paradies apartment hotel in the Alpine village of Arosa in eastern Switzerland was accused of anti-Semitism after an outraged guest posted to Facebook a picture of a notice plastered outside the hotel pool.

Thomann said that while the hotel wants its Jewish guests to feel at home, "the behavior of some of those guests is making other guests feel uncomfortable, and we received complaints so we need to be responsible for all our guests and find a balance". The family was greeted by a sign instructing all Jewish guests to shower before and after using the swimming pool.

He further added, "We were shocked".

Mobile service snapped in Kashmir as precautionary measure
A complete strike, called by resistance leadership comprising Syed Ali Gilani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik, will be observed today in occupied Kashmir.

"I have nothing against Jews, whom we regularly receive warmly here", she told the Jewish Telegraphic Agency. There is a really nice group of Jews here from all over the world - there are barely any Israelis.

She told the Blick newspaper that the apartment hotel now had a lot of Jewish clients, and that other guests had complained that some of them did not shower before using the pool and had asked her to do something.

The refrigerator note was, according to Thomann, written because use of the fridges in the hotel's kitchen is granted only to Jewish guests traveling with kosher food.

However the photo has since gone viral, attracting condemnation from many, including Israel's deputy foreign minister Tzipi Hotovely, who called it "an ugly display of anti-Semitism" and told the press she had spoken to the Israeli ambassador to Switzerland about the issue.

State Street Corp owned about 2.62% of Sabra Healthcare REIT worth $47,775,000 at the end of the most recent quarter. AQR Capital Management LLC boosted its position in shares of Sabra Healthcare REIT by 0.4% in the fourth quarter.

During an interview with The Algemeiner on Monday, the hotel owner Ruth Thomann claimed it wasn't meant to be anti-Semitic and the sign about the pool was because "some of these guests went swimming with clothes on, with T-shirts, and didn't take a shower". "I hung it because I saw Jewish guests coming to the pool on Saturday morning, I checked and they did not shower".

"I wrote something naive on that poster", she was quoted as saying, admitting that it would have been better simply to address all guests with the same message.

Thomann told Blick that because the freezer was in a staff room, she had felt compelled to set times when the Jewish guests could access it to ensure staff could enjoy their "lunch and dinner in peace".

It was signed Ruth Thomann, whose name is listed on the hotel's website as the main contact.

Bodybuilder's Death Caused By Too Much Protein
An Australian bodybuilder, Meegan Hefford has lost her life due to excessive protein shake intake, according to her family. It goes on to say that protein supplements and shakes can be very expensive and are not usually necessary.

"Unfortunately, anti-Semitism in Europe is still a reality, and we must make sure that the punishment for incidents such as these will serve as deterrents for those who still harbor the germ of anti-Semitism", she said in a statement.
