Charlottesville Rally Organizer Blames Police For Violence, Claims White Supremacists Were Victimized

The man accused of ramming a auto into a crowd protesting against a white supremacist rally in Virginia had reportedly held Nazi views since high school. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) discussed the violence at a protest in Charlottesville, VA on Saturday. When asked for clarification, a White House official confirmed to CNN that, no, we hadn't misheard POTUS: Trump was "condemning hatred, bigotry and violence from all sources and all sides", the spokesperson said.

Jason Kessler, the organizer of the "Unite the Right" white nationalist rally that turned deadly Saturday, called a press conference Sunday afternoon to address the previous day's events, but was quickly chased off by protesters. Some have called on President Donald Trump to deliver a more direct statement of disapproval after he spoke out against "this display of hatred, bigotry and violence and many sides".

Trump, speaking at his golf resort in New Jersey on Saturday, had said that "many sides" were involved in Charlottesville.

There are two words that need to be said, "over and over again", he continued - "domestic terrorism and white supremacy".
