Red Devils on the brink of signing Portuguese forward Bruno Amorim

The news of Bruno Amorim joining Manchester United really caught everyone by surprise. However, Jose Mourinho's side have been unable to make a breakthrough in negotiations with Inter over the sale of Ivan Perisic.

He can play on either wing and has been at Carrington over the last few weeks on trial and is expected to join Ricky Spragia's Under 23 squad. And it now seems the English giants will be making yet another investment in the next generation of United players.

"He had been promoted to the main squad but [United's] scout was alert and made a decision to take him there", Oliveirense's communications director Antonio Jose Leite told Agencia Lusa via Portugese newspaper Noticias ao Minuto.

Investors React to Trump's North Korea Threats
Aside from geopolitical concerns, gold-focused investors are awaiting U.S. inflation data set to be released on Friday (August 8). Trump's second warning, however, has shaken markets that have been largely resilient this year, swatting away a slew of risks.

Leite said, "He had been promoted to the main squad, but the scouting (Manchester United) was already aware and chose to take him there to experience".

"At this time the business is 50 per cent done and he can have an excellent contract ahead".

Manchester United are on the brink of announcing a deal to sign young striker Bruno Amorim from Oliveirense, according to reports in Portugal.

The regime's recent military tests reveal that the entire continental USA with the exception of Florida may be in range of North Korean missiles.

Amorim has come on the radar of United after impressing for Oliveirense in the Portuguese second tier last season.

Amorim will reportedly link up with United's Under-23s who are managed by Class of 92 legend Nicky Butt.

Oliveirense director Antonio Jose Leite all but confirmed the player's impending move, stating that the transfer is "90% done" while also highlighting the fact that he has been promoted to the first-team setup this season and was in line to be a part of Pedro Miguel's side. "Future sales of the player mean guaranteed earnings".
