The KCET 2017 was conducted by the KEA on May 2 and May 3 (Tuesday-Wednesday) 54 centers across the State. The result of KCET was out on May 30. whereas the centralized counseling started from 5th June.

They have also been warned that in the next round, which is the second-extended round, they will not be offered any choice and they will have to compulsorily join the allotted colleges. It is important to note that the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) will allot the seats online in the order of merit and based on the priority of options obtained from the candidates.

Earlier Board Declared CET 2017 results in May. The candidates will need to enter the options of their choice at the KEA website. The admission to Government seats will be made in accordance with the Karnataka Selection of Candidates in Professional Educational Institutions Rules, 2006. Candidates who had ot satisfied with the first round allotment are waiting for the second allotment results.

Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) conducts CET(Common Entrance Test) every year. The crucial supplementary examination was conducted by the state board in the month of June for candidates who could not clear the SSLC 2017 exam.
