SpaceX Launches Two Missions in Two Days

The company's founder and CEO Elon Musk is close to making re-used rocket launches the new normal in pursuit of his ultimate goal of starting a colony on Mars. Within 49 hours the company launched and recovered two Falcon 9 first stages while putting it's customer's payloads safely into orbit. New liftoff time set for 3:10 p.m. EDT. Bulgariasat-1 is the first geostationary communications satellite launched for Bulgaria. Satellite operators and the Pentagon will be closely observing the demonstration flight.

The rocket launch is scheduled to take place during the launch window at 9.25pm British Summer Time in the United Kingdom (1.25pm Pacific Time Zone in California).

SpaceX's two ambitious Falcon 9 launches this weekend will showcase it's ability to send rockets into space more frequently than its competitors. The launch window is scheduled at 1:25 pm PDT or 20:25 UTC on June 25, 2017.

Federer crushes Zverev to clinch ninth Halle title
I think going into Wimbledon he's going to be probably the favourite to win the whole thing. Visually, Federer's short-back-and-sides haircut has taken years off him.

Following stage separation, the first stage of Falcon 9 successfully landed on the "Just Read the Instructions" droneship stationed in the Pacific Ocean, despite challenging weather conditions.

But the booster, guided by its grid fins, came back in tip-top shape, sticking its landing on the drone ship. But a successful landing after launch may be hard because the Geo Stationary Transfer Orbit requires the first stage rocket to reach a significantly higher altitude than other recovered missions. However, he said, he would want to see whether using a reused first-stage would speed up launch dates. "It's been 15 years to get to this point". Musk told his followers on twitter that there is even a decent chance this stage will not survive its trip back through the atmosphere. "This is going to be a huge evolution in spaceflight".

Another Iridium launch, conducted on a brand new Falcon, happened on the West Coast from the Vandenberg Air Force Base. The company is replacing its entire constellation with next-generation satellites.
