Man catches teen falling from park ride: 'It's OK to let go'

A teenager fell about 25 feet (about 8 meters) from a stopped gondola ride at an upstate NY amusement park Saturday night, tumbling into a crowd of park guests and employees gathered below to catch her before she hit the ground.

Raw vision has emerged of a teen who tumbled into a crowd gathered more than seven metres below to catch her.

It is now unclear how she managed to slip under the safety bars.

It is unclear what caused the girl to fall from the two-person gondola, which was also occupied by an unidentified man.

He was treated and released for a back injury he suffered partially catching the falling girl.

As of now, we don't know why this girl was hanging so precariously from Sky Ride.
