Bill Cosby to host 'educational tour about sexual assault allegations'

Wyatt's colleague Ebonee M Benson went on to explain that because the USA's statute of limitations on sexual assault have been widened across many states, Cosby's public seminars were important.

HOST. Really? Like a town hall, just talk with people? "And they need to know what they're facing when they're hanging out and partying, when they're doing certain things that they shouldn't be doing", Wyatt said.

Dozens of women have accused Cosby of sexual assault.

"This issue can affect any young person", Wyatt said.

Bill Cosby is planning speaking engagements to educate people about the sexual assault allegations made against him, his publicist, Andrew Wyatt, told ABC News Thursday. He added it was also an issue that affected married men, like Cosby.

Yeah, like, when you give a woman Quaaludes for the goal of brushing against her shoulder and she's all, "Rape!"

Benson noted, "Laws are changing, laws are changing".

The juror said the panel was nearly evenly split in its deliberations, with a similar number of jurors wanting to convict the 79-year-old entertainer as acquit him. "So this is why people need to be educated on - a brush against the shoulder, you know, anything at this point can be considered sexual assault, and it's a good thing to be educated about the laws". The juror also said his views on the case weren't influenced by the more than 60 women who have come forward to accuse Cosby of sexual misconduct.

USA's largest anti-sexual violence organisation, RAINN, immediately slated Cosby's seminars.

Bill Cosby is making a questionable career move in the wake of his sexual assault case that resulted in a mistrial last week.

The anonymous juror told the Inquirer that the votes were evenly split "up the middle: young and old, black and white, men and women" and that it would be a "waste" of money to try Cosby again. "This poorly planned P.R. stunt is nothing short of a tour of blatant victim-blaming". In an affidavit filed by Pennsylvania police in 2015, Constand claimed that Cosby gave her three blue pills the night of the alleged assault.

The announcement has drawn criticism from anti-sexual assault organisations who have suggested that Cosby should instead be talking to people about not committing sexual assault in the first place. However, the report says research shows these rates are "frequently inflated". Most allegations date back too long to be admissible.
