US Should Not Brace for China on NKorea — George Mitchell

Family members, friends and thousands of mourners bade farewell Thursday to Otto Warmbier, the American college student who died shortly after his release from North Korea in a coma. He was brought back to the United States last week with brain damage, in what doctors described as state of "unresponsive wakefulness", and died on Monday.

Now, the official Korean Central News Agency has spoken out, via the Washington Post, to say this tragedy is a total mystery to them.

But according to KCNA, a spokesman of the North's National Reconciliation Council said: "Our relevant agencies treat all criminals who committed crimes against (our) republic strictly based on domestic law and global standards, and Warmbier was no different".

She finds some peace knowing he made it back to OH before he died Monday.

In a statement issued on Friday, North Korea claimed that the sudden death of Otto Warmbier was a mystery even to their nation as his health indicators were normal, as reported by Yonhap News.

Mr Warmbier's death heightened tensions between the two countries, already at loggerheads over the North's nuclear and missile programmes.

It has affected me how the media treated Cristiano; the presumption of innocence was not respected. I will always defend Cristiano as a person and as a footballer.

Some of the evidence at trial was purported security footage of Warmbier removing a political banner from his hotel.

By the time the United States extracted him, North Korean authorities said he had been comatose for over a year. He was released a week later.

Trump's tweet on China's failure to contain the reclusive state is said to have puzzled his own aides.

His family and others have blamed North Korea for his condition, saying he was "brutalised and terrorised by the pariah regime".

The student was released from North Korea on June 13, a week after the U.S. Department of State learned he had fallen into a coma after contracting botulism.

About 2,000 people packed into a school for Otto Warmbier's funeral Thursday in Wyoming, near Cincinnati. Still, Rodman believes he did. As the rogue regime repeatedly threatened the USA and its regional allies, testing missiles at least nine times since Trump's election, the administration looked to China to help.

North Korea has since denied any wrongdoing or mistreatment and claimed they were in fact "the biggest victim " in this situation. In Warmbier's home state of OH , the mourners - among them friends and family - attended his funeral at his former high school.

"I asked on behalf of Dennis for [Warmbier's] release three times", Chris Volo told ABC. His parents deserve to know what happened to their son-and it's likely that they'll never find out. No one knew that.

I'm not a fan of the Obama administration but this is just pure propaganda. We jumped up and down ... All right man, all right.

"Some good things came of this trip".

The United States, South Korea and others often accuse North Korea of using foreign detainees to wrest diplomatic concessions.

"North Korea is a pariah regime. They said they understood".
