Disney characters sign to hearing-impaired boy at Disneyland

A little boy involved in a group that helps abused, neglected, and at-risk children was treated to a heartwarming surprise during a recent trip to Disneyland. While a young boy visited Disneyland Resort, he received the surprise of a lifetime: a special moment with none other than Mickey Mouse (and his friends).

The boy was on a trip to the popular LA theme park with non-profit company Olive Crest.

Minnie and Mickey Mouse really do know how to share the magic of Disney, and a deaf boy visiting Disneyland got to experience this firsthand when he met the duo in the park during May.

Punjab: Amarinder announces total waiver on crop loans for small, marginal farmers
Punjab , a major producer of wheat and rice, will settle farmers' debts to the banks through annual budget provisions, he said. In the budget the government, besides the loan waiver, raised the old age monthly pension by Rs 250.

The story said that arrangements had been made to have an American Sign Language translator present, but the characters weren't briefed before the visit and communicated with the child on their own. He is mostly deaf, so the ASL translator is behind him, signing to the characters so they can copy her and communicate with the little guy.

"He is not a big hugger, so that hug for Minnie is something special", Olive Crest quoted the caseworker as saying.

The child's caseworker says the moment was truly handsome.
