OU safety Will Sunderland suspended indefinitely

Sunderland is a native of Midwest City, Oklahoma and is a former star at Midwest City High School.

On Monday night, OU announced that junior safety Will Sunderland was suspended from the team indefinitely after an arrest warrant was issued for him.

The affidavit states the property was stolen from the on-campus student-athlete residence March 15 and sold that day by Sunderland, though Sunderland isn't charged with stealing the equipment. He played in a total of 16 games and recorded 18 tackles and one interception towards the end of the Red River Rivalry. He was expected to vie for a starting job this season.
