Others wrote on Twitter: "Adele deserves recognition for taking the time to comfort the victims of the Glenfell Fire as well as visiting the firefighters ❤️", and another added: "Absolutely lovely, just like Adele and thank you heroes for all your wonderful heroism".

The 29-year-old singer paid an unannounced visit to a fire station in Chelsea on Monday, spending time with some of those who fought the deadly blaze.

Adele made their day as she walked into Chelsea Fire Station, and one of the wardens was so touched by her huge gesture that he shared it on Facebook so everybody knew what a sweetie she is!

"She just turned up at the station and knocked on the window and said she has some cakes for us", he said. "We have had so much support for the local community and we can not thank everyone enough".

Khadija Khalloufi, who lived in Grenfell Tower, had not been seen since a huge blaze destroyed the 24-storey tower block in west London last Wednesday.

Adele and her husband Simon Konecki visited the block again days later to offer their support to the community, with witnesses saying "she was going around and hugging everyone".

Eyewitness Tom Maughan told the Press Association: "She was so nice".

Inside the treasure chest is next year's Nets top pick (of course), along with six other first-rounders in the next three drafts. Last season, Monk averaged 19.8 points, 2.5 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game while shooting 45 percent from the field.

The fire has come at a particularly hard time for Prime Minister Theresa May, who was weakened by the loss of her parliamentary majority in a June 8 election and faces arduous talks on Britain's exit from the European Union.

"Many of you are angry and so am I", she said.

While emergency services have been widely praised for their handling of the disaster, the government has been criticized for a slow and inadequate response, with Prime Minister Theresa May facing public anger for failing to meet residents during her first visit to the site.

The London Fire Brigade used Adele's widely publicized visit to garner some support for the Firefighter's Charity, which works to help "firefighters who are in injured, ill or in need of psychological support to come to terms with the life and death situations they face on a daily basis".
