UK Conservatives and Democratic Unionists Have Broad Agreement

Talks between the Tories and Democratic Unionist Party aimed at shoring up Theresa May's position in Parliament were continuing on Wednesday.

She reportedly apologised to Tory MPs, accepting personal responsibility for failing to win an outright victory and sacrificing the parliamentary majority she inherited from David Cameron when she became leader after the Brexit referendum past year.

Mrs May has dismissed calls to resign following the dismal election result and on Monday faced her MPs and vowed to govern.

"Westminster has brought us austerity, has brought us hardship, and it has hurt the working class people in our communities", one of their MPs told reporters at a news conference in London.

Liberal Democrat MP Alistair Carmichael said: The Conservatives can not go from weak and wobbly to business as usual in three days.

India , whose skipper Virat Kohli heads the tournament batting averages with a stratospheric 253, are a formidable outfit. Sports teach sportsmanship and should be taken in the same spirit by both the countries rather than politicising it.

Speaking straight after a meeting with DUP leader Arlene Foster, the Prime Minister praised the increased diversity in the chamber, noting the record number of LGB MPs as well as the record number of BME MPs, disabled MPs and female MPs.

It comes as the party has accused the DUP of betraying the interests of Northern Ireland by agreeing to prop up a Conservative minority government.

Theresa May insisted the Government was "absolutely steadfast" in its commitment to the Northern Irish peace process as she faced questions on whether a DUP-Tory alliance would put fragile agreements at risk.

That laid out the remaining obstacles to power-sharing in Northern Ireland, he said.

It comes amid concerns the Government will compromise its stated impartiality in the region if it enters a confidence and supply deal with the DUP at Westminster.

Special prosecutor Mueller boosts his team for US Russian investigation
The president complained the probe is unfair and wondered why his defeated Democratic opponent wasn't getting the same scrutiny. This was the week the investigation of Russia's involvement in the 2016 election reached the Oval Office - and Trump himself.

Defense Secretary Michael Fallon has also sought to downplay the DUP's future role, saying the government was not looking at a formal coalition but would seek assurances that the DUP would vote with May "on the big things".

"It will take us several months to draw out the conditions of an orderly withdrawal.so let's not waste time", he said.

Her social care plans, including the highly criticized "dementia tax", are also bound to be excluded from the Queen's Speech, which was due to take place next Monday but has now been delayed ahead of a deal. "The danger is that however much any government tries they will not be seen to be impartial if they are locked into a parliamentary deal", former Conservative prime minister John Major told BBC radio.

A lack lustre campaign saw her high approval rating slip away, and support for her "hard Brexit" strategy pulling out of the European single market and customs union now hangs in the balance. Now Sinn Fein has indicated that it could end its century-long boycott of the British Parliament in order to block the DUP-Tory alliance and get a deal with Labour for a referendum on Irish unity.

Federal Bureau of Investigation won't release Comey's Trump memos
Like several of the president's recent moves, criticizing Rosenstein is unlikely to help Trump achieve his longterm goals. In other words: Trump is going to have to fire Rosenstein if he wants to fire Mueller.
