Police release dashcam video from DUI arrest for Tiger Woods

Woods was arrested 3 a.m. Monday on suspicion of driving while intoxicated, an incident Woods later clarified in a statement was the result of an "unexpected reaction to prescribed medications".

On Monday, the Florida Police had noticed Woods' Mercedes pulled to the side of the road with engines still running.

The recordings were made available to several news outlets by Jupiter, Fla., police on Wednesday and show what happened after Woods was found asleep inside his Mercedes, which had two flat tires. The officer tells Woods that he's "not even looking at the light" as he asks him to track a flashlight with his eyes.

Woods, who is recovering from back surgery, apologised and said he took "full responsibility" after spending almost four hours in jail.

"I want the public to know that alcohol was not involved", Woods said in a statement.

Woods has since claimed his disorientated condition was caused by an unexpected reaction to medication he was taking, following surgery on his back. "I didn't realiae the mix of medications had affected me so strongly".

Woods is to be arraigned July 5 in Palm Beach County court.

Woods had undergone a back operation for the fourth time on 20 April.

Most of his sponsors, when asked by Reuters if they would review their agreements with Woods in light of Monday's DUI arrest, either did not respond to requests for comment or said it was inappropriate to do so at this time.

It also cost Woods a number of endorsement deals, while other sponsors shifted away from using him in marketing but did not end their contracts with him. Police also released photos of his vehicle that showed both tires flat with minor damage around the bumpers. It didn't help Woods' case that famed golfer and noted friend Jack Nicklaus implied that Woods might have a bigger issue.

Van drove into pedestrians on London Bridge
Minutes later, he sent another tweet in which he pledged his support to the United Kingdom, writing " WE ARE WITH YOU ". One witness told the BBC she saw a speeding white van veering into pedestrians at London Bridge.

Asked where he was headed, Woods said, "I have no idea".

Here is a longer video showing the officers speaking to Woods while still in his vehicle.

The golfer had fusion surgery on his lower back last month and has not competed in four months.

"Where are you coming from right now?" the officer said. Once the vibrant fresh face of golf, the arrested Woods looked like the creepy uncle of his former self.
