Stampede at stadium kills 4 fans, unborn fetus in Honduras

FIVE people have died, while around 17 more were injured, following a stampede at a football match in Honduras.

Four people have died and around 25 left injured following a stampede at a match between Motagua and Honduras Progreso in Honduran capital Tegucigalpa.

The tragic episode happened at the General Tiburcio Carias Andino national stadium in Tegucigalpa, where Motagua and Deportes Progreseno were set to contest the final of the Clausura Tournament of the National Football League.
