Kim Jong-Un 'victim of assassination plot by CIA', North Korea claims

North Korean leader Kim Jong Un waves to people attending a military parade marking the 105th birth anniversary of country's founding father Kim Il Sung, in Pyongyang April 15, 2017.

"The murderous demons of the IS who conspired with the CIA ideologically corrupted and bribed a DPRK citizen surnamed Kim, the then worker of the timber industrial branch in the Khabarovsk Territory of Russian Federation in June 2014, and turned him into a terrorist full of repugnance and revenge", the North's security agency said.

The Ministry of State Security alleges the agencies "ideologically corrupted and bribed a North Korean citizen surnnamed Kim" to orchestrate the attack - paying him tens of thousands of dollars.

Their support for denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula, however, isn't sitting well with North Korean officials, as state media shows.

Jose Mourinho trolls Arsenal after defeat
At the Emirates, Mourinho gave a Premier League debut to Axel Tuanzebe , saying he was delighted by the 19-year-old's performance. Liverpool hasn't scored a goal against Southampton in four matches this season - two in the league and two in the League Cup.

The country's Joint Chiefs of Staff has prepared a system called the Korea Massive Punishment and Retaliation (KMPR) that would involve surgical missile attacks, exclusive special warfare units and an ability to strike North Korea's leadership if South Korea feels threatened by nuclear attack. The shelling marked the first North Korean artillery attack on South Korea since the 1950-53 Korean War.

A South Korean Marine Corps commander inspected front-line troops near the tense Western maritime border Thursday, saying that any provocations by North Korea will be retaliated against.

"Korean-style anti-terrorist attack will be commenced from this moment to sweep away the intelligence and plot-breeding organisations of the USA imperialists and the puppet clique", it said, referring to South Korea.

The leader's estranged half-brother, Kim Jong-nam, was assassinated using VX nerve agent at Kuala Lumpur International Airport earlier this year.

Trumps executive order on religious liberty hailed
Under current law, churches are free to promote political candidates but must forgo such activity to obtain tax-exempt status. That is the loosely enforced amendment that has prevented religious leaders from talking politics since the 1950's.

For its part, South Korea has admitted to having plans in place to kill Kim.

The allegations came after the US House of Representatives voted overwhelmingly in favour of imposing tighter sanctions on North Korea by targeting its shipping industry.

While China has been angered by North Korea's nuclear and missile tests, it has signed up for increasingly tough United Nations sanctions against it, and says it is committed to enforcing them.

If the sanctions are approved by the Senate and become law, they are likely to affect China, Pyongyang's most important trade partner.

Always Dreaming Trainer Todd Pletcher Says 2nd Kentucky Derby Win Is Sweetest
Pletcher's other Derby victory came in 2010 with Super Saver, who was the second-place finisher in that year's Arkansas Derby. The crowning achievement for the New Yorkers also provided redemption of sorts for Pletcher and jockey John Velazquez.

He urged all sides need to exercise restraint and not irritate each other to avoid the situation worsening.
