Prosecutors said Lampley shot both victims with a Smith & Wesson handgun stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked in San Francisco's Fisherman's Wharf area. The courtroom was lined with deputies and detectives with the Marin County Sheriff's Office, which handled a large part of the investigation.
