NASA to show 1st live 360-degree view of rocket launch

The 360-degree live stream will be broadcast on NASA Television's YouTube channel starting ten minutes before the scheduled 11:11 a.m. EDT launch at youtube.com/nasatelevision.

The International Space Station passed to the east of Cape Canaveral a few minutes before launch and the Atlas 5 took off nearly directly into the plane of the lab's orbit, a requirement for spacecraft trying to rendezvous with a target moving through space at some five miles per second. Each locker will carry critical science experiments for the crew.

A camera on the rocket's Centaur second stage captures the Atlas 5's first stage falling back to Earth moments after separation. Later in his life, he became the oldest person to fly in space.

Two new experiments perpetuated from NASA's Glenn Research Center will launch Tuesday, aboard the "S.S. John Glenn" in memory of the recently-deceased astronaut who was the first-ever American to orbit Earth. "We are also pleased that Cygnus will once again display its versatility as an in-orbit science platform for conducting experiments and payload operations for key customers".

Pence says U.S. to expand military alliance with Japan
The test was unsuccessful, with the device blowing up "almost immediately", according to US military officials. Pence arrived in Japan after visiting South Korea and leaves for Indonesia later on Wednesday.

John Glenn's trailblazing legacy took flight Tuesday as a cargo ship bearing his name rocketed toward the International Space Station. We can't all be rocket scientists, but this might be as close as we'll get. "The team is in control, and we are beginning our approach to the space station". "We will review today's 360º setup and endeavor to bring this new perspective of a rocket launch to everyone in the future".

Orbital ATK's Frank Culbertson, himself a former astronaut, said it's a tribute to the national hero who surged the U.S.'s young space industry with his historic flight 55 years ago. SpaceX, which utilizes its Dragon container and Falcon 9 rocket, has propelled 10 such contracted missions, one of which fizzled. Cygnus' large-volume and pressurized disposal cargo capability, a critical service to NASA, is unique among America's commercial cargo providers.

The launch window opens at 11:11 a.m and weather remains favorable. Weather is expected to be ideal for this morning's launch.

Diller said his time at the space agency has been a "heck of a ride".

John Terry pays tribute to Chelsea ahead of departure after 22 years
The news was expected, but it still hit hard and I'm guessing we won't be able to truly process its meaning for some time. Swansea, however, will try to tempt Terry to Wales if they can stay in the Premier League, according to the Daily Star .

French astronaut Thomas Pesquet and Peggy Whitson of NASA will operate the space station's robotic arm to grab the Cygnus and bring it in to berth at the lab at 6:05 am (1005 GMT) on Saturday, NASA said.

The Cygnus shipment, meanwhile, is taking the scenic route.

The capsule also is carrying 38 shoebox-size satellites called cubesats, four of which will remain on board the spacecraft and be deployed after it departs the station in July. The aim of this experiment is to know more about flames and fires in the low-gravity environment of the space and to figure out best kinds of flame-resistant materials that can be used in space missions. Except this; all other climatic factors are supposed to go well with the program.

Timeline of administration's statements shows confusion about location of United States aircraft carrier
That plan was thrown into doubt when photos taken last weekend showed it operating almost 3,500 miles away, off Indonesia. If not, we will solve the problem without them! "American imperialism is a paper tiger", said one Weibo user.
