Idaho GOP congressman faces angry crowd at town hall

A combative and sometimes angry crowd challenged Republican Rep. Raul Labrador during his town hall Wednesday night. It seats roughly 1,200 people, which remained almost full throughout the entire event.

This was the first town hall by a member of Idaho's congressional delegation since the 2016 elections.

"I do not believe health care is a basic human right", Labrador said to jeers while answering a question about health care reform and increasing costs.

How President Trump Has Changed His Tune on Global Deals
The administration said it has extended the sanctions relief to Iran in exchange for curbs on its nuclear programme. He had said in January 2016, after the deal was implemented, that "Iran will not get its hands on a nuclear bomb".

"I don't believe that health care should be provided by the government", he said.

Labrador, who represents Idaho's 1st Congressional District, took questions for almost three hours during a town hall at Meridian Middle School auditorium. The next one will be held held at Mission Aviation Fellowship in Nampa on April 24; it also starts in the evening at 6:30 p.m. The Spokesman-Review adds that "many in the crowd waved green sheets of paper to show they agreed - usually with the questioner, not with Labrador".

In response, one audience member told Labrador, "You seem very concerned about the well-being of children before they're born, but I wonder what happens to that compassion going forward, in terms of the positive changes you could make in the areas of health care, education and parental leave", per the Press-Tribune.

We know that he is with Stallone in the movie , and that it seems that this is a role that James Gunn really wants to keep secret. The big, knock-down, drag-out showdown with one of Marvel's most iconic supervillains early in the episode is a major highlight.

"I am super popular tonight", Labrador said, laughing a little as the crowd jeered.

The crowd let Rep. Labrador have it on issues like the president's tax returns and the congressman's vote for a bill that gave communications companies access to private information.

Labrador says that he has no problem standing up to Trump, but that he doesn't feel Congress has enough evidence to subpoena Trump to force him to hand over his tax returns.

Another cool thing about the auto is that it runs on A1 jet fuel, as this was the only source available in Antarctica. The engine, the management system, the transmission, front differential and driveshaft were all completely standard.

Labrador held more than 20 town halls last year, but he generally holds four to six a year since taking office in 2010.
