Boxer Adrien Broner Arrested While Driving

Broner involved in shooting outside of Cincinnati bar. He was booked in the Kenton County jail and released around 5 a.m., jail records show.

Boxer Adrien Broner was reportedly arrested in Kentucky early this morning while driving a white SUV which had several bullet holes in it. The open warrant was for a public intoxication charge from 2014.

Cincinnati police located a crime scene in the area of the original shots fired call. The SUV had about eight bullet holes in it.

Broner told police someone had followed him as he left G'Moni's, a Cincinnati sports bar, and fired on him at a nearby intersection.

Shortly before Broner was pulled over, Cincinnati police responded to several reports just before midnight Wednesday of shots fired from residents in the area of West McMillan Street and West McMicken Avenue.

Linked with massive world title clashes at both 140 and 147 pounds, Broner risks losing out on millions of dollars if he doesn't straighten his ways and avoid police interest.

A 27-year-old Cincinnati native, Broner has a career record of 33-2 with one no contest, most recently fighting in his hometown on February 18.
