Acura TLX Presented Having Long-Wheelbase Prototype; Many Are Fans

Acura introduced the refreshed 2018 TLX in U.S. spec earlier this month at the New York Auto Show and now the midsize luxury sedan has chose to show up in front of the Chinese public at the 2017 Auto Shanghai, with a twist. Besides the obviously longer rear doors, the 5 Series LWB will have an extra horizontal line above the taillights and extending into the C-pillar to emphasise the car's increased footprint. An offer of the BMW 5er Long Wheelbase in other markets is not planned as with the predecessors. The shiny red vehicle is called a prototype, but that's probably just while the engineers get all details sorted out.

The 2018 Acura TLX, particularly the TLX-L appears to be longer and stretched than ever before.
