Retired Pakistan army officer goes missing in Nepal

Information emanating from Pakistan suggest that Lt Col Zahir went missing from 6 April after he reached Nepal and travelled to Lumbini, a town close to Nepal's border with India, to meet his prospective "employers".

Mohammad Habib went missing soon after he landed in the Nepalese town of Lumbini on Thursday where he was supposed to appear for an interview.

"In Kathmandu, the information coming from retired army officers groups and verified by military sources revealed that he was provided a Nepalese cellphone SIM card by one Javed Ansari, who received him there", the daily said.

This was Westbrook's third 50-plus-point triple-double of the season - another record - and his eighth with at least 40 points. The Nuggets knew their fate after Damian Lillard scored 59 points Saturday to push Portland to the doorstep of the postseason.

Saad Habib suspected that his father had been kidnapped for ulterior motives through Javaid Ansari and Thomas by enemy's intelligence agencies most probably in a veiled reference to "RAW".

Police have registered the case against unknown anti-state elements and launched investigation on Sunday.

Foreign Office spokesman Mohammed Nafees Zakari said the ministry has asked authorities in Nepal to look into the disappearance of Habib.
